Family Caregivers Prepare for Unexpected Emergencies — 5 Comments

  1. I like this. I have a will and someone to take care of that. They are the ones who are supposed to be able to make the decisions for me but!!! Here lately I been having doubts that they would handle it the way I want. Won’t go into details but I am going to change some things. I don’t want my wishes to be changed.
I am going to make a few cards today.
    Love you

    • Good for you, Linda.

Last night Russell went to see about an ambulance that had stopped 2 doors down from us. Our neighbor, 68, had been out feeding his cows and passed out; his funeral will be this week.

None of us know the day or hour; doesn’t depend on who is the older, sicker person. Thankful we have Jesus and the promise of Heaven to comfort and guide us.
      Hugs to you

  2. June,
Praying with you as you make those important decisions; thankful you are able to do that. So many do not take the time and effort to tend to end-of-life decisions early.

Same with the little cards in this article; it takes very little time to do for each family member and eases so much tension when an inevitable emergency arises.

    Blessings and love to you,
