Caregiver Parent Friend Change Will Come — 7 Comments

  1. Susie,

Thanks for the update and for sharing. Prayer is always needed here. Curtis has a mass in his heart that is being studied to try to determine what it is. We have spent lots of hospital and doctor time searching. We know God will take of us, but we need extra prayer. My brother and son need lots of God’s guidance and prayer.

Yes, I read your book when it was first published. I probably need to read it again. It was very inspiring, tear jerking, and amazing to read. Thank you for writing it.

    • Joann,
Thanks for taking time to stop by and comment. We will surely be in prayer for all your family.

And, thank you for the comments on the book. God continues to use it in amazing ways with people of all ages in all sorts of caregiving situations.

      I continue to miss Momma!
      Hugs, Susie

  2. Hey Susie & Russell, this past November marks 24 years of marriage for me and Paul. I didn’t get Christmas cards out this year either. I’m guessing they finnished rebuilding Harmony. Looking forward to Dixie sending me pictures! Are snow drops akin to Lilly of the Valley? How are Laura and Michael? I have a sophomore in HS and a Freshman in college! Xxxooo to all! Am tempted to send you something for your garden across the street if God allows. Getting busy with ministry. I’ll turn around once and I’ll be married 34 years like you!

    • Hi Marie,
Thanks for taking time to comment.
Sounds as though your life is filled with change. Isn’t it easier when we allow God to lead?
      Hugs, Susie

      • Yes! It IS awesome when we learn to let God lead! … Recently God wrapped a couple, Natalie and Brandon, around our hearts and we took them under wing. Then as a result, Natalie got saved. And then the tearful gratitude and joy God placed in our hearts was unexplainable awesome! So yes! It is awesome when we learn to let God lead!

  3. Susie,
You have such a way with your desriptive words that capture my attention and long to read on. I loved this article on CHANGE. I thits home, especially when you are in ministry and trying to understand the younger generation. But where does change that is for God’s purpose ad change because it’s generational come into play? It is so confusing at times. I love and miss you my very special Pastor’s wife and friend!

Thank you for your kind words; I pray this was truly beneficial to you.
It’s so much easier to face change when God is our focus and you know that quite well. Blessings on your work with the younger generation.
Have a blessed week and thanks again for taking time to comment.
